Brands are making bold moves concerning their Black Friday agendas. Last week REI announced that none of its 143 stores would be participating in the traditional Black Friday festivities this year. Management took a stand and has decided instead, to pay its employees to go and spend the day outside enjoying some of the same outdoor activities they enable their customers to do everyday.

BAY CITY BREWING CO
Bay City Brewing Company, a new brewery is now open for business in San Diego. The young company recently opened up the doors at it’s first location in Point Loma. Located just north of the Sports Arena, near the intersection of Hancock and Kurtz, and visible from the 8 freeway.
We were excited to collaborate and help define the brand. Check out some of the design work our firm was hired to create for them. The guys at Bay City had the name established (their brewery sits directly between San Diego Bay and nearby Mission Bay) and came to us to bring it to life.

Just came across an awesomely shot and edited mini film called COLORS by The Mercadantes a husband and wife film making duo from California. It’s guaranteed to make you smile.

MIXTAPE COLLECTION
We took the time to craft together these mixtapes because we love music. Music should tell a story, like it used to when you listened to an entire album. Now we click past a song when we get bored and playlists are lazily thrown together in Spotify or Soundcloud. In the good old days you carefully selected your tracks and blended them together with timing and thought.
